FROM PANAMA / FOR THE UNITED STATES
Your information. Clear choices.
This notice covers US visitors using the Phaos Lab website and initial enquiry channels, with delivery from Panama.
Who is responsible and how to reach us
Phaos Lab is a business development and technology company based in David, Chiriquí, Panama. For questions or requests about information handled through this website, contact support@phaoslab.lat or +507 6022-0168. This notice covers the website and initial enquiries. A client project with additional data processing requires its own agreed responsibilities.
Information and sources
We distinguish information you choose to share from the technical information needed to deliver the website.
- Enquiry information you provide: name, email, optional company or professional context, service and market interests, project description and any message you send.
- Technical information from your browser and hosting/access services: IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, request time and security or authentication events.
- A device-local preference remembers your choice to pause motion. The project brief itself is held in the current page and is not saved to a Phaos Lab website database.
What happens when you prepare a brief
Typing and reviewing a brief does not send it to Phaos Lab. Choosing email or WhatsApp passes the displayed information to your email application or WhatsApp so you can review and send it there. Opening those services may disclose the prepared text to them before you send it. Copy and download actions create a copy only when you choose them. Do not include passwords, identity documents, health information, payment details or other unnecessary sensitive data.
Why information is used and who may receive it
Enquiry information is used to respond, understand the requested work, prepare a proposal and manage related communications or necessary records. Technical information supports delivery, authentication and abuse prevention. Relevant recipients may include the Phaos Lab people handling your request and service providers for website hosting, access/security, email and messaging. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to protect legal rights. It is not used by this website for automated employment, credit or eligibility decisions.
Cookies, local storage and external services
Google Analytics loads only after you accept analytics cookies. It measures page visits, browser/device information and contact actions using Google as a service provider. Analytics identifiers may last up to 180 days; our device-local consent choice lasts 180 days. We send page paths without query strings and a referring site origin, not names, email addresses, brief text or contact-link parameters. We do not use advertising pixels or embedded social feeds. Social icons are served locally. Hosting may use essential security mechanisms. The motion preference is stored locally. Use Cookie preferences in the footer to accept, reject or withdraw analytics; withdrawal disables the tag and removes its first-party cookies. Browser settings can also remove local preferences. Links to Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and client websites open services operated by those providers, whose own policies then apply.
Sale, advertising and browser privacy signals
This website does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, or perform targeted advertising. We also keep optional Analytics off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, even if this device previously accepted analytics. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled. We do not load third-party advertising trackers to follow your activity across other websites. External services you choose to open may process information under their own settings and policies.
Retention, security and international handling
A brief remains in the current page until you leave or reload it, subject to your browser’s own history and recovery behaviour. Information you actually send may be retained for as long as needed to handle the request, administer an agreed project, meet legal obligations or resolve a dispute. Retention considers the relationship, sensitivity, purpose and applicable requirements. Google Analytics user and event data retention is set to 14 months without resetting on new activity; aggregate reports may be retained longer. Hosting and communications providers apply their own operational retention controls. Phaos Lab works from Panama, and those providers may process data in other countries. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Your requests and choices
Email support@phaoslab.lat with the subject “Privacy request”, or contact +507 6022-0168. Tell us your request and enough information to locate the relevant interaction; do not send identity documents unless a proportionate secure verification method is agreed. You can ask to access, correct or delete information you sent us. Where applicable law provides additional rights, including a copy, restriction, opt-out or appeal, you may request them through the same contact. We may verify identity or an agent’s authority, explain applicable exceptions and respond within the period required by the law that applies. We do not discriminate against people for exercising applicable privacy rights.
US state privacy rights
Depending on your residence and whether the relevant law applies to Phaos Lab and the information, you may have rights to access or know, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of sale, targeted advertising or certain profiling, and appeal a denied request. California provides CCPA rights when its applicability conditions are met; other states have different coverage and exceptions. This notice does not state that every state law applies to every interaction. Submit requests, authorised-agent requests or appeals through the contacts above. We will explain an applicable limitation and the next steps available under the relevant law.
Children and policy changes
The website is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly seek their personal information. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent information can contact us to request review and removal where appropriate. Material changes to this notice will be identified on this page with an updated effective date; additional notice or consent will be provided where required. The current version is dated 9 September 2026.
